Black RTV Silicone is a one-part sealant that cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture to produce a durable and flexible silicone rubber. It is intended for a variety of uses including general purpose construction and industrial applications. Clear and white also available. Other colors available by request.

- Sealing of door and window frames, and other building components
- Bonding gaskets in heating and refrigeration units
- Sealing trailers, truck cabs, RVs
- Sealing marine cabins and windows
- Fabricating formed-in-place gaskets for gear boxes, compressors & pumps
- Sealing and caulking joints in sheet metal stacks, ductwork & equipment housings
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Chemically stable, adheres to most substrates without the need for priming
- Resists sunlight, ozone and weathering without cracking, shrinking or peeling
- Gunnable over a wide range of temperatures
- High and low temperature resistance
PRECAUTIONARY DATA:
Store in a dark and cool place. Avoid excessive heat and moisture.
PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATES:
Remove all dirt and foreign matter from substrates. Clean metal, glass and plastic surfaces by mechanical or solvent procedures. Remove solvent with a clean lint-free cloth. A thing bead of sealant will accomodate more movement than a thick bead. Joint depth should be no thicker than 1/2″ and no thinner than 1/8″.
